Account Manager

EMG is the leading international B2B communications agency specialised in industrial media relations programmes. Established in 1991, we continue to grow and now need to reinforce our dynamic team in order to support our ongoing expansion plans.

The Job
Reporting to our Client Service Director, you will have day-to-day responsibility for a group of clients handling the development, planning and implementation of their media relations and marketing communications programmes. The role will involve maintaining day-to-day client contact and developing and maintaining relations with key media contacts. There will also be opportunities to be involved in new account acquisition. 

The Person
You will be educated to Bachelor or Master degree level in communications or marketing, and have a solid grounding of at least 5 years relevant experience in B2B/industrial communications. At least 2 years of your experience must have been at an account management level and you will need to be able to demonstrate real achievement in your career to date in terms of client relationships, project management, strategic & tactical capability, and results. You will have good language capabilities and be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and at least one other language such as German or French.
